Courtney Buman is a third-generation auctioneer with a passion for maximizing value and creating opportunities. Growing up in the industry, she's honed her skills in every facet of the business, from a young age.

Leading the Charge at Jack Nitz & Associates

As Vice President, Courtney spearheads the personal property division, managing all live and online-only auctions. She's also responsible for crafting engaging website content for each auction, ensuring potential buyers have all the information they need. In addition, Courtney is a valued member of the sales team, specializing in construction equipment and lawn equipment.

Building a Legacy in Philanthropy

Driven by a desire to make a difference, Courtney is building a dedicated Philanthropic Fundraising division. She's passionate about empowering non-profit organizations in raising awareness and crucial funds.

Courtney holds the prestigious CAI designation (Certified Auctioneers Institute) – a mark of expertise achieved by only 1% of auctioneers nationwide. She's actively involved in the Nebraska, Iowa, and National Auctioneers Associations.

Courtney's talent has been recognized on the national stage, placing as Rookie of the Year & 1st Runner Up at the NeAA Bid Calling Championship and reaching the top 7 in the International Auctioneer Championship (Women's Division).

Driven by Family & Passion

When not working, Courtney enjoys spending time with her husband, Jerry, and their 3 kids, Jocelyn, Travis and Lincoln. Travel, a good glass of wine, and keeping up with fashion trends round out her life beyond the auction block.
